How to Request Information
Please call us at +1-833-697-7686 or email us at [email protected]. You may also complete the inquiry form on our website.
Our Nursing Coordinator will follow up with an email within two business days to request additional information about your diagnosis, prior testing, treatment, and medical records. Please provide medical records in English, if possible.
The information you provide will be shared with one of our expert radiation oncologists who will determine if you may be a candidate for proton therapy. This review will be completed within a few days of receiving complete records. A virtual consultation will be scheduled if we determine that proton therapy is an appropriate treatment option for you.
If you are contacting us on behalf of an adult patient, you will need a Power of Attorney authorizing us to speak with you on their behalf. This is required when you send the patient’s records for our physicians to review.
Translation Services
We offer 24-hour telephone interpreter services. Translation services are available for telephone conversations, virtual consultations, and in-person visits.
Travel to New York City
The New York City area has two large international airports (John F. Kennedy and Newark Liberty), making it easy to get here from almost anywhere in the world. If needed, our team can assist you with securing local lodging before the start of your treatment. Options include traditional and extended stay hotels as well as short-term apartments in Manhattan. Some lodging options offer special rates for travelers who are in New York City to receive medical treatment.
If needed, our social workers can write letters to help you and a family member obtain a visa for travel to the United States to receive treatment.
Things to Do in New York City
Some international patients and their families appreciate the opportunity to explore New York City during the time they are here for treatment. There is much to see and do in the city. Many Conditions. One Unique Therapy.
Compared to other forms of radiation, proton therapy targets cancer tumors with extreme precision while minimizing the impact on healthy tissues and organs. That makes proton radiation treatment uniquely appropriate for some of the most challenging cancer types: complex tumors, tumors located near vital organs and—notably—pediatric cancers.
